Acting for stage and screen demands a performer who is equally fluent in two distinct performance environments, each with its own conventions, technical requirements, and relationship to the audience. Stage acting relies on projection, physicality, and the energy of live presence; screen acting demands restraint, naturalism, and the ability to perform to a camera in fragments rather than full scenes.
