Electronic engineering is the discipline concerned with the design, development, and application of electronic devices, circuits, and systems that are central to almost every aspect of modern life. From the microchips inside smartphones and computers to the sensors in medical devices, the control systems in aircraft, and the communications infrastructure that connects the world, electronic engineers are the people who design, build, and improve the technologies that define contemporary civilisation.
