Geography is a discipline of extraordinary scope, examining the physical processes that shape the Earth's surface alongside the human systems that organise its use, connecting natural science and social science in ways few other subjects can match. Physical geography investigates landscapes, climate, water, soils, and ecosystems, while human geography explores urbanisation, migration, globalisation, inequality, and the spatial dimensions of economic and political life.
