Studying three languages at degree level is an ambitious undertaking that pays significant dividends. German, Russian and Spanish together cover a vast expanse of the world's literary, cultural, political and economic life, from the philosophical traditions and modern history of the German-speaking lands, to the great literary heritage and geopolitical weight of Russia, to the Spanish-speaking world that spans Europe and Latin America.
