The BA Islamic Studies with Arabic programme draws on classical and contemporary approaches and perspectives to provide students with an objective, in-depth and critical understanding of Islam and Muslims. The programme moves beyond the Islamic sciences (ulum)and employs a multidisciplinary approach that includes theology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, and history in studying Islam.
