At Queen's University Belfast, the Liberal Arts programme is grounded in the internationally recognised expertise of the university's faculties of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. You will explore a range of contemporary issues through both disciplinary and interdisciplinary lenses, developing a range of approaches to research and a critical awareness of the different tools and sources available for answering questions. The programme gives you the flexibility to pursue a specific subject specialism in depth if you choose, or to maintain a broader, thematic focus that crosses disciplinary boundaries. Either way, you will graduate with an understanding of how different fields of knowledge are constructed and how they can be brought into productive conversation with one another.
