About this course

Software engineering is the discipline concerned with applying systematic, disciplined and measurable approaches to the development, operation and maintenance of software. It goes beyond individual programming to encompass the full lifecycle of software systems: requirements analysis, architectural design, development methodologies, testing strategies, deployment, and the ongoing management of complex codebases in industrial and commercial contexts.
