About this course

This programme is ideal if you want a longer degree with substantial workplace experience built in. You’ll develop strong field and research skills then complete a placement year requiring 26 weeks with relevant employers and an independent placement research project supported by a supervisor. You’ll return to complete advanced conservation study and graduate with an honours project that demonstrates your capability and direction.

It’s a strong route if you want to build employability through real experience while preparing for conservation and environmental careers.
