At Edge Hill University, this part-time programme gives you a thorough engagement with cellular, molecular, genetic, and whole-organism biology, examining life from the scale of DNA and proteins through to the interactions of populations and ecosystems. You will gain experience in both laboratory and field contexts, developing practical skills alongside your theoretical understanding. The programme examines how modern biology shapes and challenges society, including its applications in commercial and research settings across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food science, environmental management, and health.
