About this course

This programme explores a broad understanding of healthcare practice across the following areas: clinical/practical and scientific skills, the social, cultural and political factors affecting health, and professional development including reflective practice. It combines theory with practice via a critical understanding of healthcare from scientific, practical, theoretical and social perspectives, engaging with contemporary debates such as national health crises, social inequalities and community health needs. This full time programme is taught across one full day of back-to-back lectures, making it highly accessible for those with work and other commitments.
