About this course

As a marine engineer you will need to be responsible, safety conscious and a good team worker. We’ll teach you these crucial skills as well as giving you an understanding of design concepts and engineering principles, along with managerial techniques required to be employed in this lucrative industry. Through a blend of lectures, scientific experiments and work-based training, you’ll develop considerable practical engineering knowledge through studies of everything from naval architecture to fluids, and specialist knowledge in topics from thermodynamics to ship propulsion.
