About this course
Use rational argument to make sense of ourselves and the world we live in. Explore β and attempt to answer β some of the oldest and most complex questions raised by natural science, art and literature, language and communication, and history. At St Andrews, you will become grounded in philosophical tradition and learn how to independently assess your own arguments.
You can take the Philosophy MA programme with another subject as part of a joint degree. Find out more about taking a joint Honours degree . These courses provide supported entry into degree-level study for applicants who do not meet the minimum entry grades, but meet contextual criteria.
