Psychology graduates work across mental health services, education, human resources, user experience research, marketing, criminal justice, social research, and the pharmaceutical industry, among many other fields. The BPS accreditation of this programme means that graduates can proceed to the second stage of the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, which is required for those wishing to train as professional psychologists in areas such as clinical, educational, forensic, or occupational psychology. Postgraduate study in a psychology specialism or in a related field such as neuroscience or public health is a natural next step.
