About this course

There are a variety of interesting and rewarding career opportunities in the sports industry. Our Sports courses focus on the application of knowledge and give students the chance to develop transferable skills for employment and further study. You will need a strong interest in either sport, fitness, or the outdoors depending on your pathway choice and a desire to excel academically and practically.

The A Level in Physical Education looks at how the body reacts to exercise, how sports psychology impacts performance and the social reasons for the importance of physical activity.
