Geography

Geography is one of the broadest and most intellectually ambitious disciplines available at university. It connects the physical and human sciences, examining how natural processes shape the Earth's surface while also investigating how human societies and economies are organised across space, how place and environment interact, and what the big challenges of urbanisation, migration, climate change, and resource scarcity mean for people in different parts of the world. At the University of Southampton, this three-year full-time BA Geography programme gives you a thorough understanding of how people, places, and environments shape one another.
