Health and Social Care is a field of study that examines how health and welfare services are organised, funded, delivered and experienced across the UK and internationally. It draws on sociology, psychology, public health, policy studies and management to develop a comprehensive understanding of how care is provided, what shapes inequalities in health outcomes and how services can be designed and led to serve diverse communities more effectively.
