Politics and international relations together form one of the most powerful frameworks for understanding how the modern world is governed. Politics examines the structures, institutions, and processes through which collective decisions are made and power is exercised within societies, from elections and legislatures to bureaucracies, political parties, and social movements. International relations extends that analysis to the global stage, exploring how states interact, how international institutions function, and what forces drive conflict, cooperation, and change at the systemic level.
