About this course
Geography at the University of Gloucestershire takes a genuinely hands-on approach to one of the most interdisciplinary subjects available at degree level. The BSc Geography is a three-year full-time programme that places a strong emphasis on fieldwork and practical learning, with small class sizes that allow you to develop skills through direct engagement with physical and human geography landscapes and environments. As the current description notes, much of your time outside fieldwork will be spent in teaching laboratories covering both human and physical geography. Geography spans the natural and social sciences, and the degree develops your competence across both.
