Accounting and finance are the twin foundations of commercial and financial life. Accounting is the practice of recording, classifying, and reporting financial transactions, providing the information that allows organisations to understand their financial position and performance, and that regulators, investors, and other stakeholders rely on to make decisions. Finance is concerned with how money is raised, allocated, and managed, and with the evaluation of financial decisions and the risks they involve. Together, they equip you to understand and contribute to the financial governance of organisations of all kinds.
