Accounting, financial management and economics is a combination designed to develop expertise across three disciplines that are deeply interconnected in practice. Accounting provides the skills to record, analyse and communicate financial information within the regulatory and governance frameworks that organisations must navigate. Financial management examines how organisations raise capital, manage risk, value assets and make investment decisions. Economics provides the theoretical and quantitative tools to analyse how markets work, how firms and households behave, and how macroeconomic forces shape the environment within which business decisions are made.
