About this course

Stage management is the discipline that holds a theatre production together: the stage manager coordinates every element of a show from rehearsal through to performance, working across design, technical, and artistic departments to ensure that everything happens at the right time, in the right place, with the right people and equipment. It is a role that demands exceptional organisational skill, calm under pressure, clear communication, and an intimate understanding of how theatrical productions are put together.
