About this course

Diagnostic radiography is the healthcare profession responsible for producing the medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopic studies, that are essential to diagnosis and treatment planning across virtually every area of medicine. Diagnostic radiographers operate sophisticated imaging equipment, care for patients during what can be stressful and uncomfortable procedures, and work as part of multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure that the right images are acquired safely and to the highest standard. The role requires both technical precision and genuine patient-centred care.
