Digital media and interaction design sits at the convergence of technology, communication, and human-centred design, asking how digital systems can be created that are not only functional but genuinely useful, meaningful, and engaging for the people who use them. Interaction design is concerned with how people relate to digital products, from websites and mobile applications to physical-digital installations and emerging interfaces, developing research-driven approaches to designing experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and effective. Digital media broadens this to encompass the creation and distribution of content across digital platforms, including video, audio, animation, and interactive narrative.
