About this course
Accountancy with finance is a degree that develops the two most fundamental disciplines of modern financial life: the technical expertise to record, report, and interpret financial activity, and the analytical and strategic understanding of how financial decisions shape organisations and economies. Accountancy provides the rigorous framework of financial reporting, auditing, and management accounting. Finance provides the theory of investment, capital markets, risk, and the financial decision-making that drives business strategy. Studying them together gives you both the technical grounding and the strategic perspective to operate at the highest levels of financial professional life. At the University of Dundee, this four-year full-time BAcc programme allows you to explore both disciplines in depth within a Scottish degree structure that provides both breadth and depth across your studies. You will study financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, and business law alongside finance topics such as investment theory, corporate finance, financial markets, and financial analysis.
