Mathematics at university encourages you to think in an entirely different way. This programme covers a broad range of mathematical topics, from abstract methods to numerical computation. It also emphasises their application to real-world problems. In Year 5 of the MMath, you will complete a large dissertation in applied mathematics. The MMath Applied Mathematics programme is a challenging five-year programme that takes you to masters level. It is designed for those who want to study in more depth, or who intend to use advanced mathematical and computational techniques in their careers.
