Art and philosophy is a combination built around the conviction that making and thinking are not separate activities but deeply intertwined ones. Philosophy provides the conceptual tools for examining the nature of beauty, representation, creativity, perception, and value, and for asking what art is and what it does. Art practice provides a site where those questions are tested in material form, where ideas are not merely articulated but embodied in objects, images, and processes.
