BSc Business with Entrepreneurship (Accelerated)
About this course
Business with entrepreneurship combines the foundational knowledge of how organisations are run with a specific focus on the creation and development of new ventures. Entrepreneurship is not simply about starting companies; it is a way of thinking about problems, opportunities, and resources that can be applied within established organisations as well as in start-ups. It requires creativity, resilience, the ability to evaluate ideas rigorously, and the practical skills to turn vision into working reality. Combining it with business studies gives those entrepreneurial instincts a solid commercial and organisational grounding. This accelerated three-year full-time programme at Anglia Ruskin is designed to equip you with the tools to develop, test, and realise ideas, and to understand the practical dimensions of building something new, from identifying opportunities and conducting market analysis to applying for grants, managing finances, and understanding what entrepreneurship really demands of the people who pursue it. The accelerated mode means the programme is compressed and intensive, which suits students who are ready to focus and progress quickly. You will study business fundamentals alongside entrepreneurship-specific content covering venture design, innovation management, and the broader ecosystem within which new businesses are created and grown. Graduates move into careers as founders and entrepreneurs, but also into roles in innovation, business development, product management, consulting, and commercial strategy within larger organisations. The entrepreneurial mindset and practical tools the degree develops are valued wherever organisations need people who can identify opportunities, build things, and drive change. Many graduates also continue to postgraduate study in entrepreneurship or business, or pursue further learning through accelerators and startup ecosystems after graduation.
