Germany has the largest economy in Europe and is a major centre of international commerce, arbitration and regulatory activity, and German is not only the language of German law but an important language of legal scholarship and cross-border practice across central Europe. You will cover the core legal subjects including public law, private law, contract, obligations, property and evidence, while the German language strand develops your communicative and analytical skills in German to a high level, including engagement with German legal and commercial contexts.
