Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and most fundamental branches of engineering, concerned with the design, analysis, and manufacture of systems and devices that involve the application of force, motion, and energy. From the engines that power aircraft and ships to the systems that control manufacturing plants, from medical devices to renewable energy infrastructure, the work of mechanical engineers touches almost every aspect of the physical world.
