At the University of Salford, this two-year full-time Foundation Degree prepares you to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a nursing associate. The direct entry route is designed for students without prior healthcare experience, making the qualification accessible to those who are motivated to work in nursing and care but are starting fresh. You will develop the clinical skills and professional knowledge needed to deliver safe and compassionate care in diverse settings including hospitals, care homes, community health, mental health services, and primary care.
