Our Sports Therapy BSc (Hons) degree prepares you to prevent, diagnose, and rehabilitate injuries, helping athletes and active individuals recover and perform at their best. With a strong focus on hands-on learning, this course provides practical experience in injury assessment, rehabilitation techniques and therapy strategies. Whether working with elite teams, clinics or fitness centres, you'll graduate with the expertise needed for a career in the fast-growing field of sports therapy. Having developed your understanding of the therapist’s role, sport and exercise science, therapy and rehabilitation techniques, you will have a vast array of opportunities to gain experience putting your training to the test in the real world. Our past Sports Therapy degree students have gained prestigious placements with Team Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and with the Scottish Rugby Union at the 2019 Rugby World Cup and Six Nations, as well as working for a host of other prolific sports clubs, organisations and events.
