Computing is one of the defining intellectual and practical disciplines of our time. At its heart it is about reasoning clearly, solving hard problems, and building systems that are correct, efficient, and useful. It draws on mathematics and logic, but it is also deeply creative: designing a piece of software, an algorithm, or an architecture requires imagination and judgement alongside rigour.
