Construction project management is the discipline that brings order, accountability and leadership to one of the most complex activities in the built environment: delivering a construction project on time, within budget and to the required standard of quality and safety. Construction projects involve multiple contractors, consultants and clients, large capital investments, regulatory compliance obligations and significant risks from weather, supply chain disruption, ground conditions and design changes. Project managers are the professionals who coordinate all of this and are accountable for the outcome.
