Digital media is the discipline concerned with the creation, distribution and analysis of content for digital platforms, combining creative production skills with an understanding of the tools, technologies and audience dynamics that shape digital communication. It is a field that encompasses video production and editing, audio and podcasting, web content, social media, animation and interactive media, asking you to develop both the technical capabilities to make digital work and the conceptual understanding to make it meaningful and effective. In a world where digital content is the dominant form of communication for organisations, communities and individuals, these skills are in demand across virtually every sector.
