Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry
BEng · Royal Holloway and Bedford New College · 4 years
About this course
Electronic engineering underpins the devices, networks, and systems that define modern life. From smartphones and medical imaging equipment to telecommunications infrastructure and renewable energy management, electronic engineers design and develop the hardware and embedded systems on which the digital world depends. The discipline combines the mathematical rigour of circuit analysis and signal processing with the creative challenge of building systems that are reliable, efficient, and fit for purpose in demanding environments. At Royal Holloway, this four-year degree with a year in industry builds your understanding of the core principles of electronic engineering, including analogue and digital circuit design, microprocessors and embedded systems, communications, and power electronics. You will develop practical skills in design, simulation, and laboratory work alongside theoretical
