Engineering with Business
BEng · City St George's, University of London · 3 years
About this course
Engineering with business is a combination that reflects a real and growing need in the economy: organisations that develop and deploy technology require people who can bridge the gap between engineering expertise and business judgement. Pure engineers without management understanding can struggle to lead organisations and communicate with non-technical stakeholders, while business professionals without engineering literacy can misunderstand or undervalue technical constraints and possibilities. At City St George's, University of London, the BEng Engineering with Business is a three-year full-time programme that includes a sandwich year and work placement, developing both dimensions in parallel. The engineering strand covers the principles of engineering systems and design, giving you a grounding in how engineered products and infrastructure are conceived, analysed, and created. The bus
