About this course

Law with international relations is a degree that equips you to engage with the legal and political dimensions of a world in which national boundaries are increasingly porous. Law provides the framework of rules, principles, and institutions through which rights are protected, disputes are resolved, and power is constrained. International relations examines how states and other actors interact in the absence of a single global authority, exploring questions of diplomacy, trade, security, human rights, and the governance of shared challenges. The two disciplines complement each other naturally, since so much of international affairs is conducted within, through, or against legal frameworks.
