About this course

Mental health nursing is a profession rooted in the belief that people experiencing mental illness deserve skilled, compassionate, and evidence-based care that supports their recovery and enables them to live as fully and independently as possible. Mental health nurses work with people across the full spectrum of age and diagnosis, from children and young people with anxiety and depression through to adults with severe and enduring conditions such as schizophrenia, and older adults experiencing dementia.
