Philosophy, logic and scientific method is a degree that takes the foundations of rational inquiry seriously, examining the principles of valid reasoning, the nature of scientific knowledge, and the deep philosophical questions that arise when we try to understand what science does and what it tells us about the world. It is a degree for students who are interested not just in what we know but in how we know it, why some methods are more reliable than others, and what the limits of rational understanding might be.
