About this course

Real estate is a profession concerned with the valuation, management, development, investment and transaction of land and property, one of the most significant asset classes in any economy. Real estate professionals advise on the purchase, sale, letting and development of all types of property, from residential and commercial to industrial and agricultural, applying knowledge of markets, law, planning, finance and construction to decisions that can involve very large sums of money and long-term consequences. The sector requires practitioners who are analytically rigorous, commercially aware and able to navigate both technical and human complexity. At the University of Westminster this four-year, full-time programme includes a foundation year, providing a supported entry point for those who would benefit from additional academic preparation before progressing to the full honours degree.
