Accounting and financial management sit at the centre of how organisations understand their own performance and make decisions about resources, investment, and risk. Accounting provides the language and discipline for recording, reporting, and auditing financial information, while financial management applies economic and analytical thinking to questions of capital structure, investment appraisal, risk management, and value creation.
