About this course
Electronic and digital systems sit at the core of modern technology, from the microprocessors inside smartphones and laptops to the communication networks that connect the world and the control systems embedded in vehicles, aircraft, and industrial machinery. Spectacular advances in semiconductor technology have made it possible to put extraordinary capabilities into ever-smaller devices, and the engineers who design and develop these systems are responsible for some of the most consequential and fast-moving areas of technological change. Electronic and digital engineering is a discipline that combines rigorous physical science with creative problem-solving and the ability to manage complexity at many levels simultaneously.
