About this course
Global business management with a specialism in logistics and supply chain addresses the operational backbone of international commerce. Supply chains link raw materials to finished products across multiple countries, companies and transport modes, and managing them well requires a grasp of procurement, distribution, inventory control, risk management and the digital systems that coordinate movement at scale. As globalisation has deepened and events such as pandemic disruptions have made supply chain fragility visible, organisations have come to recognise that skilled supply chain managers are strategically critical rather than merely operational. At Northumbria University, this programme allows you to build on your existing qualifications and top up to an honours degree in two years full time, or three years on a sandwich route, gaining both the breadth of a global business management
