Integrated Engineering (with Foundation Year)

About this course
Integrated engineering approaches the discipline from a broad perspective, recognising that the most challenging real-world problems rarely fall neatly within a single engineering specialism. Where traditional programmes focus on mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering in isolation, an integrated approach develops the ability to understand systems and solve problems that span multiple domains. This kind of cross-disciplinary engineering thinking is increasingly what industry demands, particularly as digital technologies, sustainability challenges, and systems complexity reshape what engineering means in practice. The New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering takes an explicitly practice-oriented and employer-engaged approach to engineering education. This four-year programme includes a foundation year, which builds the mathematical, scientific, and analytical foundations n
