About this course
Music at the Guildhall School is a performance and composition training of an entirely different character from a standard university music degree. The Guildhall is one of the world's leading conservatoires, and its BMus programme is built around world-class one-to-one tuition with specialist professors across all principal study areas: strings, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard, vocal studies, composition, electronic and produced music, and jazz. This is an institution where the development of your individual artistic voice and technical mastery as a performer or composer is the central purpose of the degree. This four-year full-time programme combines intensive principal study with a rich supporting curriculum including ensemble playing, chamber music, conducting, music history, and theory. The tutorial relationship at the core of the programme gives you sustained individual attention
