The music industry has always required more than musicians. Behind every successful recording artist, tour, label or festival is a network of managers, agents, publicists, promoters, marketing professionals and entrepreneurs who understand the business of music and the creative ecosystem that sustains it. Music management and creative enterprise is the study of that business dimension, combining knowledge of the music industry with the entrepreneurial skills needed to navigate, build and operate within it. This three-year full-time degree at the University of Salford develops the tools and training needed to work in music management and the creative industries more broadly.
