Social sciences is a broad interdisciplinary field that encompasses the systematic study of human society, behaviour, and institutions. It brings together perspectives from sociology, psychology, economics, politics, and anthropology to address questions about how societies are organised, how power and inequality operate, how individuals and communities relate to institutions, and how social change occurs. Studying social sciences together, rather than any single discipline in isolation, develops your capacity to approach complex social questions from multiple angles and to draw on a range of theoretical and empirical tools.
