About this course
Sport coaching and education brings together two fields that are more closely related than they might initially appear. Effective coaching is fundamentally an educational process, concerned with how athletes learn, how skills are developed, how confidence and motivation are built, and how coaches communicate and create the conditions in which people improve. Studying both together provides a more complete understanding of the human dimensions of sport than either field offers on its own.
