About this course

Electronic engineering is the discipline concerned with the design and development of systems that process, transmit and store information using electrical signals, encompassing everything from semiconductors and circuit design to communications, signal processing, and embedded systems. Space science and technology applies those engineering principles to the uniquely demanding environment of space, where systems must operate without the possibility of maintenance, in extreme temperatures, under intense radiation, and over distances that make real-time communication impossible. It is a field that sits at the frontier of engineering practice and scientific ambition. At the University of Bath you will follow this three-year full-time programme, developing the core electronic engineering skills needed to design and build sophisticated systems while also developing the specialised knowledge
