About this course

Finance with an International Business focus is a degree that prepares you for the increasingly global character of financial markets and corporate finance. Businesses raise capital, manage risk, and make investment decisions in an international context, shaped by exchange rates, cross-border regulation, different corporate governance systems, and the dynamics of emerging markets. This programme combines the rigorous analytical foundations of finance with an understanding of how international business operates, and a year abroad adds direct experience of a different financial or business environment. At the University of Reading, which has a well-regarded business school, this four-year programme includes a year abroad as a structural feature.
